# Notes on how to build and run the (Jenkins) CI build pipeline locally using Docker.

0. Change directory to SBDG project working directory (for example):

$ cd ~/pivdev/spring-boot-data-geode

1. Run...

$ docker run -it -v $HOME:/root -v $HOME/Library/Containers/com.docker.docker/Data/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock --mount type=bind,source="$(pwd)",target=/spring-boot-data-geode-github adoptopenjdk/openjdk8:latest /bin/sh
$ export GRADLE_OPTS="-Duser.name=root -Duser.home=/root"
$ cd /spring-boot-data-geode-github
(optional)
$ export USER=root
LINUX
$ adduser root daemon
MAC
$ sudo dseditgroups -o edit -a root -t daemon

2. Change directory to...

$ cd spring-boot-data-geode-github

3. Run the build...

$ ./gradlew --no-daemon clean build install
$ ./gradlew clean build install
