* Remove Boon dependency and its usage
* Remove overloaded methods from the `IntegrationFlowDefinition`
- we can simply rely now on the super class
* Remove (or rework) deprecated entities in the docs
* Fix tests for removed deprecated APIs
* Rework affected tests to JUnit 5
* Move `What's New` into `changes-5.1-5.2.adoc`
* Remove version from the `XSD` files:
1. Align with SF
2. The version for XSD doesn't matter for the current jar version,
since only the version is available in classpath is from the current
jar version
3. Modify `spring.schemas` to map all the possible versions for XSD
into the current one in a jar.
This way target applications can upgrade without changing the version
for XSD location and we don't need to require `versionless` variant
any more
4. The jar in classpath can handle only its own XSD, so independently
of version or no-version variants we still may fail because the current
jar may not support end-user code any more - need some fix over there
anyway.
* Remove `checkTestConfigs` Gradle task since we don't worry about XSD
version any more
* Modify `schemaZip` Gradle task to populate XSDs into a distribution
still with a version to avoid overriding on-line XSDs for version `1.0.x`.
We may consider not do that since SF doesn't and just bite a bullet
for always overriding those on-line XSDs to the actual one from the latest
release.
Fixes https://github.com/spring-projects/spring-integration/issues/2748
* Refactor more `MessageHandlingException`s to include `this` into an
exception message
* Revert using `MessagingException` in some places which really are not
about messaging.
This helps to wrap them into `MessageHandlingException` later in the
`MessageHandler` for the `BeanDefinition` reference
* Remove `volatile` from configuration properties in the affected
classes
* Remove already deprecated `JmsOutboundGateway.setPriority()`
* Add `resource` and `source` for `BeanDefinition` in the
`AbstractChannelAdapterParser` & `AbstractInboundGatewayParser`
* Document the feature
Fixes https://github.com/spring-projects/spring-integration/issues/2987
To resolve XSD files properly from the classpath, their HTTPS reference
must be present in the `spring.schemas` to avoid the Internet interaction
for resolving an XSD file
**Cherry-pick to 5.1.x, 5.0.x & 4.3.x**

It's hard to fix all other tests without core components modification.
Although it doesn't look like worth it.
We may consider just `@Ignore` those tests since RMI is not so popular
these days for the thorough support
* Do not fix urls for the `http://apache.org/xml/features` when we
configure XML components
* Do not fix urls for localhost and fake links in tests
* Fix all the dead links in docs
* Use `IntegrationUtils.wrapInHandlingExceptionIfNecessary()` whenever
it is possible to avoid double wrapping into the `MessageHandlingException`
* Some code polishing for affected classes `@Nullable`, streams, diamonds etc.
Mostly thanks to IDEA's plugin: https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/10345-assertions2assertj
There is still a lot of work to do when complex and composite matchers are used.
* Add `awaitility` dependency and deprecate `EventuallyMatcher` in favor
of `awaitility`
* Remove Hamcrest from dependencies and disable JUnit & Hamcrest
static imports to encourage to use only AssertJ
* Migrate JUnit assumptions in rules to AssertJ's assumptions
* Deprecate some custom matchers in favor of existing in Hamcrest
after upgrading the last to version `2.1`
* Replace `ExpectedException` rules with `assertThatThrownBy()`
* Mention `MessagePredicate` in the `testing.adoc`
* Make IOS.setTaskScheduler() as public
* Make `IntegrationObjectSupport.setTaskScheduler()` as `public` and
remove all the overrides for visibility
* Fix Sonar smells for all the affected classes
* * Fix `throws Exception` for affected classes to avoid compilation errors
* * Fix "merely rethrow" smell
* Revert `throws Exception` for `AbstractEndpoint.destroy()`
* * Catch a couple exceptions from `destroy()`
* Enable ModifierOrderCheck Checkstyle rule
* Fix violations for `static` and `abstract` modifier
* Remove redundant code in the `TcpNioConnection`
* Mark `connectionFactoryName` as `@Nullable` in the `TcpConnectionSupport`
ctor and its inheritors
* Fix some smells according IDEA suggestions in the affected classes
* This should fix some Sonar smells as well
* * Fix `HeaderMapperTests`
* * Polishing `TcpConnection` code style and fix Javdocs
* Destroy RmiInboundGateway.RmiServiceExporter
The internal instance `RmiServiceExporter` of the `RmiInboundGateway`
has to be destroyed together with the outer instance to unbind `service`
from the RMI registry
* Perform some polishing for the `RmiInboundGateway` and optimize
a `AbstractInboundGatewayParser` for late channels binding
* * Polishing some tests
* Expose getters for channels on the `MessagingGatewaySupport`
* Fix RMI tests to use random port
* INT-4376: Upgage to Log4J 2
JIRA: https://jira.spring.io/browse/INT-4376
* Deprecate Log4J 1.x components in favor of newly added
a `Log4j2LevelAdjuster` JUnit `@Rule`
* Update all the logging configuration to Log4J 2
* Polishing after testing
* Fix TCP/IP `ParserUnitTests.testInUdpMulticast()` do not check
the port.
No guarantee with the OS selection port that it is always going
to be `> 5100`
* Optimize `RmiInboundGatewayParserTests` to load application context
only once - `@RunWith(SpringRunner.class)`
JIRA: https://jira.spring.io/browse/INT-4364
Always let the OS choose the ports for tests.
Just one test remains (RMI) because there appears to be no way to obtain
the port after creating a registry with a 0 port.
This test has been switched to use the Spring utility.

The `JpaOutboundGateway` returns a whole `Message` for reply copying request headers.
Building the reply a `AbstractMessageProducingHandler` uses `MessageBuilder` to create a new `Message` with all request headers because of `shouldCopyRequestHeaders() == true`
* To avoid some overhead with new `Message` and `MessageBuilder` for nothing, just return a JPA result as is and let super class to build the Message
* Optimize all reply producers to return `MessageBuilder` to the super `handleMessage()` process
* Return the whole `gatherResult` `Message<?>` from the `ScatterGatherHandler` to have ability to transfer reply headers as well
* Mark `DelayHandler` as `shouldCopyRequestHeaders() return false` since it doesn't modify Message and returns it as is after delay
JIRA: https://jira.spring.io/browse/INT-4206
* Fix unnecessary dependency resolution in BOM module
* Fix `MessagingMethodInvokerHelper` to handle `$MockitoMock$` generated classed which isn't CGLib `Proxies` any more
* Provide fixes for test classes according upgrade to Mockito `2.5`
* Fix Ceckstyle do not allow static imports for deprecated Mockito classes

Having `TransactionHandleMessageAdvice` we can start TX from any `MessageHandler.handleMessage()`
* Add `<transactional>` alongside with the `<request-handler-advice-chain>` for those components which produce reply
* Merge `<transactional>` and `<request-handler-advice-chain>` configuration to a single `ManagedList`
* Rework JPA `<transactional>` in favor of common solution
* Some polishing and refactoring
AbstractPollingEndpoint: avoid `new ArrayList` if we don't have `receiveOnlyAdvice`s
Polishing - PR Comments and Closeable Warnings
Eclipse emits bogus warnings with exceptions in lambdas.
Even though the lambda might run on another thread, elipse thinks it could
cause the context to not be closed.
SPR-14854: MessageChannel is now a @FunctionalInterface
* Additional Lambda polishing and some code style fixes
checkstyle EmptyBlock
checkstyle fixRightCurly Script
checkstyle EmptyStatement
checkstyle RightCurly
checkstyle TailingWhite
checkstyle NeedBraces
Fix the line separator in the `fixRightCurly.gradle`
This should be treated as experimental but with these changes it seems to build ok.

It turns out that our sporadic Redis problems were fixed in a later version of Jedis.
The problem was that the `connection.subscribe()` exited immediately. When I started adding debug
logic, the problem went away (because I was using a newer versio of Jedis).
spring-data-redis 1.5.2 is updated to work with the 2.7.3 version of Jedis.

Add a `getComponentType()` method for all handlers,
message producers, and message sources that implement
`NamedComponent` (see `SPCA.getComponentType()`).
Add rome as an optional dependency - STS complained
because AtomFeedHttpMessageConverter has a dependency
on it.

Several FactoryBeans did not propagate the BeanFactory
to their created object(s). Beans that create messages
must have access to a bean factory to get the
message builder factory.
Fix the FactoryBeans and add a mock FB to all tests that
need one.
Add a runtime environment variable to make any infractions
fatal. This should be set to `true` on CI builds and on
framework developer environments.
