* Move `What's New` into `changes-5.1-5.2.adoc`
* Remove version from the `XSD` files:
1. Align with SF
2. The version for XSD doesn't matter for the current jar version,
since only the version is available in classpath is from the current
jar version
3. Modify `spring.schemas` to map all the possible versions for XSD
into the current one in a jar.
This way target applications can upgrade without changing the version
for XSD location and we don't need to require `versionless` variant
any more
4. The jar in classpath can handle only its own XSD, so independently
of version or no-version variants we still may fail because the current
jar may not support end-user code any more - need some fix over there
anyway.
* Remove `checkTestConfigs` Gradle task since we don't worry about XSD
version any more
* Modify `schemaZip` Gradle task to populate XSDs into a distribution
still with a version to avoid overriding on-line XSDs for version `1.0.x`.
We may consider not do that since SF doesn't and just bite a bullet
for always overriding those on-line XSDs to the actual one from the latest
release.
Fixes https://github.com/spring-projects/spring-integration/issues/2987
To resolve XSD files properly from the classpath, their HTTPS reference
must be present in the `spring.schemas` to avoid the Internet interaction
for resolving an XSD file

If a header mapper is injected into the mail receiver, a mapped
message is result instead of a message with the raw `MimeMessage`.
`MimeMessage` properties are mapped as discrete headers; in addition
the raw email headers are provided as a multivalue map in the headers.
Handle Multipart
Since a Multipart content has a reference to the original MimeMessage,
convert to a simple byte[] by default.
Add an option in case the user wants to map the message but still
interpret the Multipart intact.

This commit updates Spring Integration to depend upon Spring 4, making
use of the message types that have moved from Spring Integration into
Spring's new spring-messaging module.
The default message converter no longer supports conversion of a
message that is null, throwing an IllegalArgumentException if an
attempt is made to convert null. Furthermore, GenericMessagingTemplate
does not support sending null, again throwing an
IllegalArgumentException. Previously, MessagingTemplate had no-oped an
attempt to send null.
ConcurrentAggregatorTests and AggregatorTests both had a single test
that was specifically testing the behaviour of an aggregator that
returns null for its message. These tests have been removed.
CorrelatingMessageHandlerTests have been updated to specify some
additional behaviour for its mocks so that null messages are not
returned.
These are the only functional changes that have been made. All other
changes are simply for moving to the repackaged and/or renamed types.
In the move to being part of core Spring, a number of constants and
header accessor methods have moved from MessageHeaders to
MessageHeaderAccessor. This commit continues this pattern for
the enterprise integration headers that are specific to Spring
Integration. A new class, EiMessageHeaderAccessor, has been created.
This class provides constants and methods for working with SI-specific
headers. The main code and tests have been updated to use this new
class.

- Reformat schemas where indentation changed
- Add SLC to the UDP inbound adapter
Copy schemas, cleanup whitespace, update spring.schemas files,
update version in AbstractIntegrationNamespaceHandler.
For each schema compared the 2.2 version with the 3.0 version
(diff -w), ensuring the only difference is the import of
3.0 schemas (where appropriate) instead of 2.2.
Previously, the ability to customize the search term
strategy was added to the IMAP Idle adapter; it should
also be available to the polled IMAP adapter.
Add the attribute.
Remove some obsolete code from the parser.
Added pseudo-tx support for Mail inbound adapters
For polling adapters no changes have been made other then returning a javax.mail.Message instead of its copy so
post-tx dispositions could be performed on it.
For Imap IDLE adapter changes are simiar to the once present in SPCA where TX synchronization logic was added to ImapIdleChannelAdapter
Couple of things to note:
First IDLE receives an array of messages while Polling task receives one message which means i need to sendMessage in the Polling task in the separate thread, so for maintaining single thread semantics we have now it uses single thread executor to send Messages
Renamed MSRH to TransactionalResourceHolder since we no longer use 'source' anywhere and in the case of IDLE there is no MessageSource. Its is truly a holder of attributes we want to make available for use (e.g., SpEL)
INT-1819 Polishing
- Change TransactionalResourceHolder to IntegrationResourceHolder
- Make messageSource available as an attribute
- Allow configuration of Executor for ImapIdle adapter
- Add parser test for TX ImapIdle adapter
- Fix bundlor config for mail
- Remove top level <transactional/> element that was added to core
- Restore 'legacy' mail attributes in TX, and add schema doc
INT-1819 Mail TX Reference Docs
Add reference documentation for mail transaction support.
INT-1819 Remove 'public abstract' from interface
Modifiers are not needed on an interface.
Add general capability to advise just the handleRequestMessage
part of an AbstractReplyProducingMessageHandler.
This is to advise just the immediate operation, and not the
entire downstream flow.
Uses include:
* outbound gateway post processing
* adding retry behavior using spring-retry
* adding circuit breaker functionality
Initial commit for review.
Also need to advise simple message handlers (such as file
etc) to allow them to post-process file operations
with payload.delete(), payload.renameTo(...) etc.
INT-2250 Add Circuit Breaker Advice
INT-343 Add Retry Advice
Stateless and Stateful retry using spring-retry. Stateless
means the RetryTemplate performs the retries internally.
Stateful means the exception is thrown (e.g. to JMS container)
and the retry state is maintained by spring-retry.

INT-2536 Schema Check
Bump version for schema check in

INT-2536 Remove Schema Versions
Some test config files had 2.1 versioned schemas.
The AbstractChannelAdapterParser creates an implicit DirectChannel
if the adapter has no 'channel' attribute.
The Event, TCP, and UDP channel adapter parsers did not bind
this channel to the adapter and AC initialization failed with
'outputChannel is required'.
Further, the event schema marked the channel as being 'required',
precluding this feature.
INT-2407 Remove Channel use="required"
Parsers automatically generate the channel when none is provided.

* MessageChannel was moved from core to the base package.
* ChannelResolver moved from core to support.
* TcpConnectionInterceptorFactoryChain was incorrect.
2. Flagged all messages that passed ImapMailReceiver with either system flag (Flag.FLAGGED) or user flag (if supported. there is a check for that as well)
3. Modified initial SearchTerm (see compileSearchTerms()) to include checking for such flags. Now both IMAP IDLE and IMAP Polling only receive messages that are NOT SEEN and NOT FLAGGED with system or user flags.
4. Folder is now always opened in READ-WRITE mode.
5. Set PEEK flag on every incoming message to 'true' before the messages are fetched.
