INT-4236: Status for SmartLifecycleRoleControlller

Add methods to obtain status from the `SmartLifecycleRoleController`.

* Polishing according PR comments.
* Fix log messages in the `SmartLifecycleRoleController` from the Zookeeper mentioning

Conflicts:
	src/reference/asciidoc/endpoint.adoc
Resolved.

Also Java 6 Compatibility.
